Nevada Drought Forum [State of Nevada]
The Nevada Drought Forum brings together some of the best minds in the water science, conservation, government and industry sectors to ensure that Nevada’s path forward is clear. The Forum provides an opportunity for all Nevadans — urban and rural, north and south — to come together to help address this most critical challenge. The drought forum consists of members of local water municipalities, state government, higher education, and climate experts. The Forum will also call for affected industries, communities and local and federal partners to join in the conversation.


Nevada Division of Water Resources
The Nevada Division of Water Resources (NDWR) function is to conserve, protect, manage and enhance the State's water resources for Nevada's citizens through the appropriation and reallocation of the public waters.


Center for Biological Diversity
The Center’s programs are devoted to protecting biodiversity in different arenas through science; legal action; policy advocacy; negotiation with government and industry; and creative, strategic media and outreach.


PLAN — Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada
PLAN has opposed the Las Vegas Water Grab, which would create Owens Valley wasteland across a wide swath of the state, destroying the economy of rural Nevada and ranching as a way of life. Instead of drastically increasing monthly bills of ratepayers to finance the pipeline scheme, PLAN favors more stringent water conservation efforts that would save nearly as much water as the pipeline would bring in.


The Sierra Club
The Sierra Club is the nation's largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization -- with more than two million members and supporters. The organization has protected millions of acres of wilderness, it helped pass the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Endangered Species Act. More recently, the club made history by leading the charge to move away from the dirty fossil fuels that cause climate disruption and toward a clean energy economy.


Confederate Tribes of the Goshute Indian Reservation We are descendants of the bands of Indians who settled in Eastern Nevada and Western Utah. The Shoshone-Goship people have always been an integral part of Western Utah and Northeastern Nevada. The word Goshute (Gosuite) is derived from the native word Kutsipiuti (Gutsipiuti) which means “desert people”.We have inhabited the land long before the arrival of the white man in America.


Duckwater Shoshone Tribe
The Duckwater Shoshone Tribe is located in beautiful Railroad Valley, a remote, high desert valley in the very northern tip of Nye County. The Tribe is primarily an agricultural community, drawing water from the largest geothermal hot spring located in the State of Nevada.


Central Nevada Regional Water Authority
The Central Nevada Regional Water Authority (CNRWA) is a 8 county unit of local government in the State of Nevada that collaboratively and proactively addresses water resource issues common to the 8 counties. The CNRWA exists under Nevada's Interlocal Cooperation Act and has delegated authority separate and apart from its member counties..


Nevada Rangeland Resources Commission
The Nevada Rangeland Resources Commission is made up of representatives from the Nevada state grazing boards, and one representative or delegate from the Nevada Woolgrowers, Nevada Farm Bureau and the Nevada Cattleman's Association.


Nevada Farm Bureau
Nevada Farm Bureau is Nevada’s largest, general agriculture organization. The Farm Bureau is a member organization and is the Voice of Nevada’s agriculture, promoting, preserving, and resolving challenges through advocacy, education, and leadership.


Save the Colorado River Campaign
Climate change is looming, population growth is escalating, more dams and diversions are planned, species are on the brink of extinction, oil/gas/mineral exploration near the river is increasing, and invasive species are continuing their march up and down the river and its tributaries.


Colorado River Research Group (CRRG)
The CRRG is a self-directed team of ten veteran Colorado River scholars. Each member has led a research program concerning water resources management, river science, or water law and public policy, or has written widely on these topics. The purpose of the CRRG is to provide a non-partisan, basin-wide perspective on matters pertaining to the Colorado River, helping all those with a stake in the river identify, justify and implement actions that sustainably meet society's demands for water while maintaining the distinct attributes of the Colorado River ecosystem.

National Parks and Conservation Association
The National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) is an independent, nonpartisan voice working to address major threats facing the National Park System. NPCA was established in 1919, just three years after the National Park Service.
