CEDAR CITY TAKES ANOTHER HIT ON PIPELINE FEIS

For the third time, federal regulators pushed back the release of the final environmental review for the Cedar City Pipeline. This was welcome news for a regulatory matter that’s been spanning more than five years. A delay is a win. And we’ll take it. However, we are being told that the amount of time to review the document will be a weekend. That’s right a little more than two days to review a document that will likely span 1000 pages. Nevertheless, pipeline pushers cannot silence us. And you can help stop the madness.

Watch our video below, submit comments at this link, and tell federal regulators that they need to do one of the following:

  • Stop this disjointed, jumbled process that is giving the applicant unfair bites at the apple.
  • Initiate a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement where the hydrologic analysis is not paid for by the project proponent.
  • Re-start the environmental review process with legitimate hydrologic analysis that is not paid for by the project proponent.
