One of the unsung heroes of our hard-fought water victory is our webmaster, John Walker. Behind the scenes, for more years than we can count, John has posted and archived news, information and resources about our multi-decade water fight. John brought a deep knowledge of the subject and passion for the cause to the daily diligence of web posting. With a newly designed website, John is stepping aside so that our executive director can take on the responsibility of webmaster. The website archives remain available (dig deep) as a treasure trove and testament to what happened when during the thrilling ride to victory. But there’s no retirement for John. With two children under the age of 6, in a year (or two?) of pandemic, and a need for speed on his bicycle, he will certainly continue to be engaged in the future of Nevada and the Great Basin. From all of us at Great Basin Water Network, thank you John for all you have done to support GBWN and the water fight.
